With BSD now back in production and shipping kits, we thought it might be nice to celebrate this in the UK at the UKRA at Heckingdon by trying to get as many BSD kits up in the air as we can.

The UKRA have a new cup, called the UKRA Challenge Cup. Each year a different challenge will be set and it will be sponsored by a vendor.

Rocket Store as a new BSD dealer will be sponsoring this year by giving out a nice new shiny BSD kit, the 5.5" Horizon Level 3 kit, worth UK retail £300. The rules are simple. Any BSD kit (minor mods allowed to cater for hybrids) can fly and its closest to 3,000 feet altitude. The altitude will obviously need to be veriifed by an RSO and it must be a commercial altimeter. We will come up with some rules incase of a tie.

So if your BSD is collecting dust, then why not get it out the shed, loft or under the stairs and try for the challenge.

We hope to see many BSD kits taking part, if not and there is only a single entry then you wont have to try very hard to get a nice new shiny L3 Horizon kit.
