
Following on from the successful launch of Corpulent Stump last year at International Rocket Week 2007 (IRW), this year Richard Brown will be launching his latest rocket named Oi Oi Savaloy sponsored by Rocket Store at this years IRW event in Largs, Scotland.
The launch window is between 22nd and 24th of August 2008. We will be leaving for IRW on 19th August and will check the weather once we arrive to choose a suitable launch date/time.
The rocket is of O total impulse power and is made up of a central rocket with 2 strap on boosters
similar to the space shuttle. Each booster contains an Aerotech M2400T Blue Thunder motor, with the central rocket holding an Aerotech N2000W White Lightning motor with six K1100T Blue Thunder motors round the outside.

The rocket will most certainly be one of the largest and most powerful non commercial rockets ever flown in the UK and we hope the launch will attract a lot of media attention giving amateur high powered rocketry some excellent exposure.
